After 3 years of wear tests and fabrics studies, I can speak very confidently in the quality and functionality of this t-shirt. The shirt has been cut to fit more tailored up top with a smaller armhole and relaxed chest. As it bells out toward the hem it allows for more fold-over when tucked in and, better layering when worn under outerwear. The superfine merino wool is a perfect all season base-layer fabric. The weight allows for a very nice drape and the utilization of temperature/moisture regulation properties of merino wool. The antimicrobial properties of merino wool top it off as this t-shirt can be worn for weeks without retaining any odor.
3 Years of Wash and Wear
The shirt below has been washed and dried over three years of frequent wear. It has about a %15 shrinkage if dried on high heat.
The color does not fade, but the feel of the fabric will change over time. Starting with a deep luster and a slight sheen, evolving into a softer, lighter, fuzzy texture. Both are beautiful in their own nature.
This testing demonstrates the high resilience and performance of merino wool as a base layer, making it the first choice of fabric I like to wear in warm to cold weather.
